When i am 7 months old, Dardy and Momma decided to bring me for my first swim after i recovered from my Spaying . I was real excited that morning when Momma told me that they are bringing me for a swim.
They brought me to U Petgamart at West Coast for my first swim. That place is awesome. It is a huge pets supplies store, with a pool by the side.

It was my first time swimming and i do not dare to go down into the water alone. Dardy leashed me up and went into the pool with me. i swam up and down the pool for a few laps and i proclaim myself the Dog's World Michael Phelps. Im a born swimmer Momma said. i dive into the pool everytime i went in, and i swim every lap real fast!

After i am no longer afraid of the water and i proved myself to be a born swimmer, Dardy off leashed me and i just swam on my own. I feel so proud of myself to be able to learn how to swim within minutes.

After my first swim, i went to take my most hated bath at the washing area behind the pool and home we go.
I swam for a good 1 hour and im totally exhausted after that.
I slept all the way from U Pets to Home.

After my first time to the pool, i felt that i should practice my swimming more to perfect my dives and swim styles. I bugged my parents to bring me to the pool every weekend and they obliged to my requests. i guess they wanna train me to be the next Michael Phelps. Maybe i should call myself Kopii Phelps from now on.

I love swimming, the Vet says that swimming helps strengthen my hind leg without putting too much pressure on it. Since swimming has so much benefits and it is so much fun, i shall make sure Momma and Dardy brings me for a swim every other week.
But first, can anyone buy me a bikini or a full body swim suit?

- Located at 27 West Coast Highway, Singapore 117867
- Closed every Tuesday for maintenance
- Open from 11am - 7pm
Price: Free for members. Membership costs $38 for 2 years.
Kopii's review : the pool is clean everytime i went, its not very crowded but there's a lot of small dogs. It would be better if more GR's goes there so that i can play with friends my size and not be accused of bullying the smaller dogs. :P
Sun Petgamart
- Located at 26 Seletar West Farmway 1, Singapore 798126
- Pool opens only on weekend (closed on weekdays for fumigation and maintenance)
- Open from 10am - 7pm
Price: Free for members. Membership cost $38 for 5 years.
Kopii's review : went there once, the pool is quite dirty and there's alot of mosquitoes around. Alot of GR's goes there for their weekend swim. The people at Sun Pets decided to close the pool on weekdays after consideration so that they have ample time to clean the pool and fumigate the area.
Mutts and Mittens
- Located at 11 Pasir Ris Farmway 2
- Open from 10am - 5pm
Price: $10 per half hour (exclusive use of the pool)
Kopii's review : went there once for a swim with my friends, we had exclusive use of the pool which is cool. The pool area is sheltered so we have no fear of sunburnt. However there's no place for us to bathe after swimming. The floor is concrete and my nails bleed after running around on it chasing Danzy. Will be better if the floor is less rough.
Animal World
- Located at 100 Turf Club Road
- Open from 2.30pm - 5.30pm (Tues to Fri), 1.30pm - 6.30pm (Sat, Sun & PH)
- Closed every Monday
Price: per hour $12.80 (Small), $15 (Medium), $17.10 (Large)
Kopii's review : went there once as well for a swim with friends, there's a baby pool for small dogs and a deep pool for experts like me. Beside the pool area is a dog run that i can run freely. When i went, the cafe is closed and only the dog bakery is open. We can bathe at the entrance of the pool after our swim. The floor area is concrete and my nails bleed again after too much of running around.
